These buckles were scratched at some point! Every buckle is different- by purchasing this listing you acknowledge that the buckle you are getting is flawed and will come with scratches. If none are available, you will receive a non-flawed one at no extra cost. These buckles are structurally fine. Just scratched.

Buckles: See picture for details! The Standard Black Buckle is a plastic buckle, and these weigh much less than the metal buckles. The standard black buckle comes standard with any collar. The Metal Upgrade is Nickel Plated Aluminum, also available are Rose Gold or NeoChrome. In my testing these have proven strong, but do weigh more than the plastic buckle. Metal will scratch and scuff over time, in my experience the more rough and tumble your dog is when wearing a collar the quicker they will scratch. Basically your mileage will vary! These do 'jingle' more than a plastic buckle due to the metal on metal contact. You can't beat how gorgeous a metal buckle looks to make your collar that much fancier!
These will upgrade the hardware as well for the Rose Gold, Black Metal and NeoChrome
